Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you get it deleted.
1. Who we are
AccessPet is an online pet accessories store operated by MAKERS UNITY LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MAKERS UNITY LLC trading as AccessPet.
We are the data controller for personal information collected through accesspet.store.
2. Information we collect

4. Payment processing
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and, where you choose it, by PayPal, Inc. Card details are entered directly into fields hosted by the payment processor and are transmitted to them, not to us. We never receive, see or store your full card number, expiry date or security code.
We receive from the processor only a transaction reference, the payment status, the card brand, and the last four digits of the card, which we hold so that we can identify and refund the transaction.
Stripe and PayPal each act as independent controllers for the payment data they process and are certified to PCI DSS Level 1. Their own privacy notices apply to that processing.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to run the store, and only for that purpose:
- Payment processors — Stripe, PayPal, for taking payment and handling refunds and disputes.
- Fulfilment and shipping — our United States warehouse partner and the carriers (USPS, UPS) who deliver your parcel. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number and email for delivery notifications.
- Hosting and infrastructure — our web host, which stores the site and its database on servers located in the United States.
- Email delivery — the provider that sends transactional and, where you have consented, marketing emails.
- Analytics and advertising — Google Analytics and Google Ads, only where you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where necessary and under a duty of confidentiality.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Our servers and our fulfilment operation are located in the United States. Some of our service providers may process data outside the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer mechanisms those providers have put in place, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
7. How long we keep it
| Order and transaction records | 7 years, to meet US tax and accounting requirements |
|---|---|
| Customer account data | Until you delete the account, then removed within 30 days |
| Support correspondence | 3 years from the last message |
| Marketing consent records | Until you unsubscribe, plus 2 years as proof of consent |
| Analytics data | 14 months |
| Server access logs | 90 days |
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, we will honour the following requests:
- Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion — erase your information, except records we must keep by law.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from any email, or tell us and we will remove you.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, but you may still register the preference with us.
- Withdraw cookie consent — change your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.
- Non-discrimination — we will not give you worse service or pricing for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email support@accesspet.store with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will verify your identity by confirming details of a recent order, and we respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
California residents may designate an authorised agent to make a request on their behalf; we will ask for written proof of that authorisation.
9. Security
The whole site is served over TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in plain text. Administrative access is restricted, logged and protected by strong authentication. Card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your personal information ever occurred we would notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
10. Children
This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where you have given us your email address, by email.
